Welcome to our online shop.

Hay-on-Wye is a small border town on the edge of Wales, only yards from Herefordshire, England. It is at the tip of Brecon Beacons National Park and nestles below the Black Mountains, and the beautiful River Wye forms a natural town boundary.
Our shop is in the centre of town at 2 Lion Street, opposite the famous Richard Booth's Bookshop and Hay Deli. The postcode is HR3 5AA.

A worldwide reputation was made because of the many second-hand bookshops throughout the town, particularly the recently refurbished Richard Booth's Bookshop. It is also the home of the International Hay Festival of Arts and Literature, held annually at the end of May.

Plenty of other events are also held in and around Hay-on-Wye such as the HowTheLightGetsIn Festival of Philosophy and Music during Hay Festival, Hay Walking Festival, Hay Bike Fest, Hay Dark Skies Festival and nearby, Borderlines Film Festival, The Steam and Vintage Rally, The Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells, Abergavenny Food Festival and many other events. Check out what happens here at, the useful and informative cultural guide and magazine.

People often comment that it is unique in having so many varied, small independent shops, locally owned and run, and with a thriving Thursday Market making visiting here so special. We support this independence throughTotally Locally Hay.

You will love it here, we do!
